First responder

We were just having our lunch when there was a muffled thud against the window.  Investigation revealed a slightly stunned robin all tangled up in the lavender bush beneath the window.  I very gently untangled him and sat him on my hand to give him chance to recover his senses.  Fortunately he did not seem to have injured himself and after about five minutes he flew away to a nearby tree.
