Inspecting the equipment

Went to town to pick up some groceries and mushroom manure. Almost time to plant the garlic! 
In and out of the grocery stores quickly, fairly busy in both, most people wearing masks. A quick walk around the harbour to look for a blip. I liked the variety of colours in this one and the guy's hair hanging down as he inspected the equipment.
Home to pick a few more tomatoes and do a bit more cleanup in the garden. Trying to do a bit at a time and not stay outdoors for too long.
Still smoky. Such a weird light and eerie quiet - even the birds are silent. Makes me think of the book we bought years ago, Silent Spring by Rachel Carson. I wonder what she'd think of the state of our planet today.
