Encouraged

At least I can see the lake and the hills beyond now......barely.  

My eldest grandson, his wife and son live just south of Portland and have been under Level 3 evacuation for several days (that's "leave now!").  They've managed to save their home, barn and animals with the help of neighbors who are all in the same boat, at least for now.  Apparently the fires are still a threat so we are worried but trying to be optimistic.
