Horse Chestnut

I could hear the Spitfire today flying over town, but couldn't see it from the house, when it came back over after flypast of hospitals, it was closer but still could only hear it. It was a beautiful sunny day for the flight all over Scotland.

I met up with MT with carry out tea & scones, but she couldn't get parked up at Cramond Weir as car park full, went to Church car park which was closed, so went to next car park near the shore but it was heaving too. It's a bit smelly today down there to sit & there are a couple of Army vehicles appeared to fill up what little space left. So we gave up.

I sat out in the garden for a while in the afternoon with my nose tucked into an easy read book, so may get it finished tonight in bed.

This horse chestnut is outside my front door & was looking rather colourful against the blue sky.

Going to be cooler overnight.
