Riva Del Mare

We so wanted to go away again.

Batted messages and links back and forth across the ether.

I found some nice places but am such a dumbass about availability.

To fall into sea. To look out on the sea. To hear the sea at night.

But there is so little coast and so much people.

In the end we plumped for this place.

The reviews were a bit iffy about the owners and the sea seems a long way off.

But it’s our home and something we have made together through thick and thin and light and shade.

And maybe one day a pool will sparkle where seared grass and stubborn rockhard earth bears witness to the world changing around us.
