Round Seventeen

Round Seventeen - sweet seventeen, lots of joking with the male nurse. My veins are very hard to hit and the nurses hold a record of 8 attempts, today it was 5. However, humour and good spirits help immensely, on both sides. Today’s book is the Magnesia Litera 2020 winner Liška v dámu (Fox into Lady) and it is far from humorous. It brilliantly describes the 50’s ideology applied in Russia and former Czechoslovakia.
