Friends Reunited...

Well after 7 months and 4 days, the pals are finally back together again!

Andrew's mum dropped him and his suitcase off just before 5pm and he was keen to tell about us all the new clothes he'd got for our holiday...even new slippers :-)

Meanwhile Ali has spent the day packing Alan's stuff and there are currently five massive bags sitting in the hall full to the brim, and she's just asked for another one!  I think she's packed literally everything he has!  So glad it's not my job to pack the cars!

Meanwhile David played golf with Kenny (it's his birthday today.  Happy Birthday K! :-) Stephen and Keith.  I haven't packed a thing clothing wise yet but my art and photography stuff is all ready to go.  It's all about priorities ;-))

We're all excited and looking forward to getting away and trying not to get too stressed about the fact we are heading to an area that has the top 10 covid hotspots in England!  Restrictions have been increased in the north east and I fully expect similar restrictions to be announced for Lancashire in the morning.  

Hopefully it won't affect us too much as we are not planning on being in shops / cafes / restaurants / pubs etc and a 10pm curfew won't ruin anything.  A full lockdown with a limited travel distance is another story.  Here's hoping it doesn't come to that.
