Fly Agaric in the leaves

This morning I went to Ifton Meadows Nature Reserve for a walk.  I saw these beautiful Fly Agaric fungi in the dappled light under the trees, the first that I've seenthis year.  I'm sure that some fairies or elves will be partying on and around them!

Fly Agaric are beautiful to look at but are poisonous and hallucinogenic so not something to sample for tea (I'm sure that the little people will be very careful!
