The Cardinal

Well I think it is as it has 2 white sex bands rather than the three of the Silver Washed fritilliary. It is Europe’s largest fritillary and very rare in Switzerland. We had 3 on our Buddleia  which has decided to flower again. It is a real magnet for any butterflies as there are so few flowers left at the moment. 

A busy day with 4 yoga lessons as I have had to add one at 8 in the morning to reduce the size of the other classes for social distancing. Sadly, Covid is on the up again in our area.
