DOT

So yesterday turned into a nightmare.

Had to get Diva to the vet first thing in the morning for an injection to bring on contractions so she could deliver the 5th pup. (The other 4 were born ok).

The injection didn't work so it was back to the vet in the afternoon.

They kept Diva in and put her to sleep and tried to get the pup out but they couldn't get to it, so it was an emergency section.

Unfortunately we lost the pup.

I was able to pick up Diva and her pups at tea time and bring them home.

She was a bit groggy but able to feed her pups ok. I checked on her a few times during the night and she was fine.

Today Diva has been feeding and moving about ok and her and her pups are all doing well.

This is Diva with pup no.2 Dot who is always round her Mum's neck, (named after Eastenders characters ;)
