Carpenter Ant

I have been doing a big fall clean up in the garden, and came across some carpenter ants coming out of some holes in the mortar of of our house! So we got the pest control man out to deal with the problem. They like damp wood, so hopefully we don’t have a bigger problem! The acorn is there to give an idea of it’s size - quite large!
