If it's Wednesday, it must be Fair Isle

Last Friday mum asked me if I would make some cushions for their new home (apart from a couple of precious cushions from Melin Tregwynt, I've either knitted or stitched all my cushions). Of course I will, but what was a bit spooky was that only a few hours earlier I'd make a little Fair Isle one as a surprise because my parents have always liked the ones I've made for myself.

So I've spent the last couple of days working out a colour scheme that will complement how they intend to decorate the living room. Luckily my lovely stash of Spindrift 4ply yarn from Jamieson's of Shetland contains a lot of suitable colours. But not enough, so I ordered some more from the Jamieson's website.

Yeay!

My little bundle of happiness will soon be travelling over 800 miles - almost the length of the country - and that, for some reason, makes me feel really happy!
