Santa Susana Pass

Our air quality has improved, but it is still hazy.  The freeway in my Blip cuts through the Santa Susana Mountains, connecting our city with LA.  This road is a engineering marvel.  And, we live a world apart from LA.  In the Spring, these mountains are as green as Ireland.  

There are many times fires have started here or roared through this area.  The fireman try to use this freeway as a fire break, to keep it from roaring into the valley below.  Unfortunately, wildfires can send ember miles ahead when the wind is strong.

Today, there is a breeze & the traffic is light.
