Drop-in duck

This pintail was a visitor to our local lake today. We called at Morrison's at the end of our walk and bought the ducks a loaf. Although he stayed on the edge of the hoard of mallards he knew what it was about. We managed to get a couple of bits of bread to him.
(It was snowing quite heavily so I could not take too many shots for fear of getting my camera wet.)

We went early on our walk to avoid the snow, but ended up walking for an hour and a half in fine snow. Good job we'd wrapped up warm. We called at Morrisons for a hot chocolate and to get some cheap bread.
