A view down Derwent Water.

Quite taken with this view,  we walked part way around Derwent Water this afternoon so Gill could paint a watercolour at the split stone.   On the way back as the view along to the far end of the lake was improving I settled on this as my blip. 

Dust spots aside - it looks far better large on black :-)

Far too many images to go through on the laptop screen so I am just picking the first one which takes my eye and going for a super simple mono processing.  

Apologies re the lack of commenting etc - Gill does not get much chance to see her sister so we are spending some time socialising with Chris and her husband Pete when we have the chance.
