Lunchtime sunshine (Day 1959)

Back to Stromness this morning for more on the job I started yesterday. The majority of the work involved guddling around in a small space in the eaves of the house, so everything took longer than it should have done. New supplies for the wash basin had to be run inside a stud wall, and there was a bit of waste pipe to re-route so part of the floor had to come up.
I headed along to the shore for lunch and sat eating sandwiches in the sunshine.
By mid afternoon I had done as much in the job as I can, I have to wait now for M to finish his bit. With time to spare I visited another customer and fixed their loo.
A trip to the horses and a quick catch up with my beautiful wife finished off the day.
