RikiTikiTavi and friend...

Two mongoose were playing with a feather on our way back from our morning swim. We watched them for several minutes until man on bicycle passed by and they shot off to their home in the tsunami wall.

A busier day, visiting the local town by auto-rickshaw (tuk-tuk) to buy prescription spectacles and fresh pineapple juice.

The bird count today has included white-fronted kingfisher, bee-eaters, eurasion kingfishers and babblers - delightful and highly sociable brown birds that wander like a group of naughty schoolboys, creating noise and havoc.
