Admiral

There’s been a noticeable decrease in butterflies this year - from my conversations with others it seems to be the same in other parts of Scotland too. Usually the buddleia is absolutely hooching with butterflies each summer but there’ve been just a few at any given time this year. There’s not much left in the way of flowers but this Red Admiral was still taking it’s fill. It was also the answer to one of those UC questions mentioned yesterday ;)

One more day of work until our holidays - I don’t think a holiday has ever been as much needed as this one from a sheer exhaustion point - months of insane hours for little pay has certainly taken its toll.
