Blue/green algae

Went for a walk around 'Harlaw Reservoir' this morning. Just as I was let off my lead for a run about and a splish, splash, splosh in the reservoir we noticed a 'gumpy fisherman' staring at me. I ran up to him because I am a very sociable little collie pup. And he made a huge fuss of me. And he wasn't grumpy at all.

And do you know what he told Ann?........................ He told Ann that there was lots of blue/green algae in the reservoir.

I immediately got put back onto my lead because blue/green algae can be fatal to dogs if they swim/drink the water. And when we got to the end of the reservoir there was a big sign saying the same thing.

Sooooooo........................ a trot round the reservoir on my lead wasn't really that exciting for me, but at least I'm still alive. And I had a good run about in the Hermitage this afternoon.
