Ardmeanach

This is the view towards the Ardmeanach peninsular on Mull, famous for its fossil tree which to locate involves a strenuous cliff walk and at least one rope ladder. I prefer, these days, to contemplate it from Bunessan and in comfort from the the cosy cottage on the edge of the village where we are spending the next few days.
Mull never disappoints and it is a joy to return here as a carefree ( although, I hope a careful) tourist. The precariousness of rural communities torn between public health and economic imperatives has never been more acute.
