Culverthorpe Lakes

Tesco delivered early today, in fact this morning instead late afternoon which has been the norm since March.  And no warning text!  Took us by surprise, but left the rest of the day free.
 
So after yesterday we thought that we would have another little adventure to make the best of the warm weather, only this time to somewhere where we knew we could park up for a while, and hopefully get a photo or two.
 
We have visited Culverthorpe before, and it’s already plumbed into TomTom, so off we went.  Pleasant run without winding up in a farm yard, and we got a couple of shots as well.
 
My aim was to frame the lake through the trees, and took a series of shots at different focal lengths.  I narrowed it down to two and finally chose this one for the blip.  Both, plus a not very good sunburst through the trees (I should have taken the trouble to stop down) are here on Flickr.  I have done better.
