Stowe

Having seen the weather forecast at the weekend we decided we’d book to go to Stowe Landscape Gardens this morning.  A good walk around the grounds and a picnic overlooking the lake.  While we were sitting having our lunch, a huge fish, possibly a pike, leaped a couple of feet out of the water close to us for something, although we didn’t see what unfortunate creature formed its lunch.

Of course, you can’t go to Stowe without taking the classic shot of the Palladian Bridge so I’ve added that as an extra.  But as we were walking down from the visitor centre to the gardens we watched this flock of sheep being moved from one field to another.  A rather bemused child in a pushchair was surrounded by them after they moved out onto the lane.
