Beechwood House (1780)

This residence is now used as part of a private hospital and houses the Physiotherapy department.

I had my first experience of a MRI scan today, following an arthrogram of my shoulder. Not something I’m keen to repeat. The needle pain was bad, the bangs and whirrs of the scanner noisy but being forced to listen to 5 of Queen’s ‘greatest hits’ in a tight tube while wearing a toga and facemask was the worst.

Hopefully it will be worth it.
