Battle of Britain Day

Everyone in the UK should be feeling grateful to the Few who ultimately saved us from tyranny, by winning the Battle of Britain.

Among the documents that mum brought over I came across this dated after the end of the war in1946. If you look at the left hand collum at the bottom youll see POWs itemised. Altho hostilities had ended many German Pows were kept here up until 1948. The reason being that much of the labour carried out on farms and on the land was done by these former Nazis.

A bit of an easy day today just vacuuming and general tidying, oh and a bit of washing of course.

Spoke to C who seemed confused so I rang the ward to check all ok which it was...
