This tower, built c1938 sits on Seaview Hill in the small North Island town of Foxton.

Today we spent an enjoyable time visiting the new Te Awahou Nieuwe Stroom, the Foxton Hub of library, local heritage/museum/information centre/café.

This delightful town is a short 10 minute drive from Himatangi Beach - where we are staying at the moment.

Strong gusty winds continue over many parts of NZ.
