The courgette

A friend who received my triumphant courgette photo pointed out that I hadn't included anything to show scale. For the record - it was approximately 7" long.

I sent the photo because for weeks I have been bending same friend's ear about the lack of courgettes on the two very large courgette plants in the greenhouse. Her own plants, surviving outside in the Orkney weather, have given a steady stream of courgettes.
