Celebrate

Today was better than yesterday, thank goodness. I had the one lie-in of the week and got ready slowly in the sunshine- what more could I want? ;-)

I popped into Farnham to A's boutique to give her the book. I was a bit nervous as there hasn't been a lot of joy in this, but she was one of the few people I knew really cared about it, and having waiting so long to finally hold it in my hands, I felt a bit nothingy! 

It was actually quite hot out, as I had a browse in a few little shops on the way. A wasn't there, but in a way it was good because it's hard to feel happy when you've had a rubbish time, but yet I was disappointed not to see her as I always feel heaps better and uplifted when I do. I left it with one of her colleagues and she said she'd put it on her desk for her. 

Later on I went for a long walk in the ranges with my friend, H. I love seeing her- she's just one of those people that is just so genuinely lovely, and we have a lot of shared experiences. She always makes me feel heaps better and we walked and nattered for 3 hours and then another 40 minutes outside in my street when we got back. 

She totally floored me by giving me this little card and bunch of roses to celebrate the book/my course. I never expected it and it was such a lovely thing for her to do so I was quite touched. 

The weather was gorgeous and I wished I'd taken my camera to capture the beautiful views. We got 20k steps- if the Shine walk hadn't been canceled, we'd have been on fire!
