Returning from my 2nd horse call out of the evening at 11:57pm when the blipping panic struck! On the journey I saw 4 deer (none in pairs although I was prepared for the second deer suicide attempt this tim), 1 shrew and lots of horses. Worse still in a courtesy car with only petrol vapour to run on.

Thankfully I managed to squeeze in pancakes with friends, and finally now after a very backward day am tucked up in bed at 12:30 in the morning with a plate of beef hash. Roll on tomorrow evening and a return to normality!
