Dear Diary,

It is time for stuffing cheeks and stocking underground pantries for chipmunks.  Lots of scurrying about lately.  There is still time for me to get the winter prep started though.  I just want to enjoy these last few weeks of warm weather.  Our hot sweltering days are over, just mild days and cool nights now.  Just as I like it.
