And they're off

I was messing about trying to photograph an adolescent chaffinch in the garden when these three perching on next door's TV aerial caught my eye. I liked this one of them scarpering the best. Not sure it's a great fit for the MM challenge of 'up and down' but I'm going to tag it anyway. Many thanks to SueJay50 for hosting.

Busy day. I'm about to be swallowed by Microsoft Teams until the end of the afternoon as I'm working today. Thank goodness for a decent sleep last night and a walk over the fields with Flora before I start. It's going to be a beautiful autumn day but I can always look out the window occasionally.
