Productive day

Sunday but OH was at work, hopefully last one.

The weather was glorious but I had lots of indoor jobs so cleaned the house, did food shopping then attacked the first batch of apples. Apples galore and they don’t last forever. I have tried keeping them cool in the cupboard under the stairs but they don’t keep well. Cooking and freezing is the only way.

It takes an age but the results are worth it and provides lots of compote for the winter months.
