Lemon and eggs

So, I forgot to take a Blip of the amazing pancakes with maple syrup that greeted me as I came home from work (not literally of course) and so I resorted to the remains of the eggs that went to make the pancakes, a Jif lemon (out of date), a bowl of water and a big splash (frozen in time with an external flash).

Composition is terrible. I need to stop leaving it so late to shoot my Blip and take the time to get my tripod out of the car so that I can set up to compose the shot properly.
