Runners

I went up to the allotment, attempted to resurrect a fallen teepee of borlotti beans and picked lots of stuff. It was grey and quite windy and no sign of birds at the feeders - did see a lot of cats prowling about though.

In the afternoon I made a bread pudding and blanched and froze a big batch of runner beans (nice bowl, eh?).

Later we discovered that we'd won second place for our petits pois in the virtual allotment show - hurray for us! I'll add the photo as an extra although it wasn't taken today - hope that's OK.
