Swim in the lake

After three days of cycling we planned a day of tourism which we started with a swim in the Lac du Bourget. The car parks where already full at 11 am as everyone had the same idea as it was a lovely indian summer day. We continued through but had forgotten that the Tour de France was in the area and had to turn around due to several road closures. We ended up eating a salad in McDonalds as we could not find a supermarket or bakery and the only lakeside café we found had a dreadfull live singer
