Mahonia

As we gallop into autumn the colour of many different leaves is beginning to change.

I think one of the most dramatic changes is seen in the Mahonia shrub. The tough, prickly, holly like leaves turn from bright green into the most vibrant red.

The wind was blowing a real ‘hoolie’ through the night and for most of the day ..... not a day for worrying about your hairstyle!
