Sunday experiments
At my brother-in-law’s request, I dropped into their home today with my Canon macro lenses and micro four thirds adapter (and Mum in tow), so that he could try them out on his Panasonic camera. He and my sister already had Raynox macro attachments which work well on my sister’s bridge camera, but not the MFT. My niece also turned up, and the four of us had a wonderful time trying out the cameras and lenses in their garden. So much so, my niece (who is looking for a new hobby) went away with an old bridge camera of her Mum’s and links to some beginners classes, while my B-in-L discovered the difference a true macro lens makes, albeit using a manual adapter (once he managed to prise the camera back out of my sister’s hand), and I was reinvigorated to make more use of the adapter (though I do miss not being able to set the aperture)
This shot was taken with the Canon 100mm L lens, which I had preset while on the canon camera to f5.6.
