Lovers' grotto

At the bottom of this rock is a cave called 'la grotte des amoureux.' It is a natural cavern where young courting couples would go for a kiss and a cuddle. I know this as a reference to it features in a song by Cali, brought up in the village and now a big star, a sort of French version of Ed Sheeran. I chose a couple more books from the library at the back of church to take back with me to pass the time during quarantine. However, I have got several clocks waiting for me to attend to so I might be busier than I had imagined.
