Their day

Champagne breakfast at Norloft with a great view and blue skies, a walk up Calton Hill for some more photos (just coincided with a rain squall unfortunately) then home without N and his Dad so A could try on both the dresses to show G his Mum. She loves her real one, and posed and swished and walked up and down for ages, then needed a nap as did G. I tidied up, made the canapés and wrapped their present from me (a neon sign saying ‘Written in the stars’).
N and his Dad home just in time to arrange the technology and drinks for the family and friends zoom call to see them blow out candles and cut their cake and chat about what they’d done today, their plans for an eventual wedding and hear what all the various people on the call were up to....scattered around the globe and with the comedy ‘I can’t hear you, can you hear me?’ chat at the start.
Had our lasagne then cake supper, lots of chat and another early night. They’ve had a good day.
