Remembering Stoo Chop

I can’t believe it’s 10 years to the day since we lost Stewart. This picture was taken on the Brooklyn Heights Promenade in New York City - a place he truly loved - at the beginning of a month long adventure Amtraking across the USA in 2002. This is how I like to remember Stoo, exploring the city with incomparable urgency, relishing the adventure for everything it was (even the knarly moments), capturing it all via DV & 35mm and the expectation of future adventures never far from his mind or the conversation.
