By the rapids of Tammerkoski there is Vappu!

New students of technical university of Tampere must be dipped into a cold rapid of Tammerkoski every year. Normally this is done at Vappu -day in front of some 20.000 people, but because of the corona, the happening was postponed until now. Only the closest relatives could follow the dip at the rapids - or they could watch the happenings from home sofa: the local newspaper and finnish broadcasting company made a live stream out of this.

Safe systems taken care very good and the happening was smooth as always.

Both of our students were celebrating Vappu today :)
