Alternative

We were well organised this year & had 2 holidays booked for later in the year, by mid January Today we should have flown to Malta for 10 days, but Covid19 put paid to the plans, since Malta is off the green list our insurance wasn't valid. We have lost the cost of the flights but managed to cancel accommodation and car hire without any penalties.
Luckily we can stay in Portnoo as an alternative, just a pity it isn't warmer, on the plus side Bubbles is happy to get walking the beach, which we did while others went for a dip at 9.30 am
