Progress...

It was another busy day foraging, as a helpful dog walker yesterday told me where there was an abundance of larger sloes. I checked them out this morning, and they were bigger, and definitely not damsons, so I picked another kilo, as well as blackberries.

I made a little progress with the ribbon. The trial in  paper definitely helped with the angles and relative sizes.  I think I will try mounting on a piece of scrap fabric before attaching to a hat base.
