2000th blip

That was yesterday's! So today is my 2001st blip, and I spent a happy 4 hours with 2 of my favourite people. Arranged by our PA - that's Joanne,she is so good at organising us - we met at a pub midway between Cambridge and my house at midday.

A nice meal, drinks and lots of chatting, and outpouring of midlife anxieties, ups and downs, and general catching up was had. No hugs ( sad face) but with the promise that we will do it all again very soon, we went out separate ways at just before 5.

Home at 6.15. Jon and Henry had finished the patio, and been to Norwich to collect a second hand dishwasher from someone selling it on Facebook marketplace. Only £40, a bargain. We will now need to move things about in our postage stamp kitchen to fit it in. The kitchen is the next thing on our list, and we even went to Homebase this morning and in passing looked at the kitchens. We want to push ahead and get this room sorted next year.
