First game of the season

I drove my son to his football team’s first game of the season. It was in a decent ground for one and we got to watch from the stand - all appropriately socially distanced! This blip is of the team warm up - again following the Covid rules. After a very close first half and some blistering saves from my son, it all unravelled in the second half and they chalked up a loss. Never mind, plenty of time to improve. It was a beautiful day and it was good to catch up with the other parents and hear about the first week back at school. Fingers crossed we can beat this virus and keep them at school as it’s definitely good for them. Now off to enjoy the sunshine in my garden.
