Oh Nuts

Ah, Shrove Tuesday... The number of pancake-related blips that are occurring today; I dread to think.

Eve made pancakes this morning (awesome!) and damn it they were good. I don't eat flour, but I do eat these pancakes.

The great start to the day was followed up by a vastly mediocre day (a couple of terrible lectures) although I did get a bit of project work done and spoke to the professor who runs the module where Engineers from Warwick build water structures in Uganda - exciting times.

The only thing that coud have saved the day was if a housemate cooked some pancakes. But only if said housemate had lived in France for 2 weeks working fulltime in a crêperie learning the craft of authentic crepe making, and then run their own crepe business for 12 months during their gap year... Oh wait, thanks Henry!

Unfortunately, Henry saw fit to throw the jar of unopened Nutella on the floor - bad times. Not wanting it to go completely to waste I scooped out enough Nutella from the centre of the 'jar' for one pancake. Raggy wanted to try some and I let him try some of the sacred, scarce Nutella pancake (hey, I'm just a nice guy like that). It just so happened that the one tiny piece of glass that did get in to the pancake happened to be in the bit that I gave to Raggy (hey, I'm just a nice guy like that). Oops. Fortunately he didn't cut himself.

I'm gonna feel pretty sick tomorrow, but it was worth it.
