Lock duty

A well-travelled day. I visited some friends who I hadn't seen for about 25 years! They have been cruising the canals for seven months and I met them in Wightwick, where they were moored on the Staffordshire and Worcestershire canal. After a pub lunch we went for a little boat trip and I was entrusted with the tiller for a short while. I think I prefered helping to work the locks - less chance of doing something wrong! 
A very enjoyable day catching up on all our news but now back home and very tired.
