Golden Rod

I used to think Goden Rod was a really dull plant with disappointing blooms. But this is a plant I bought last year and it is the first time it has come into full bloom. I am so pleased with it. Might seek out more.

Jack and I are off to Hove tomorrow to spend the weekend with my sister Angela, my nieces, Clare and PhilippaJ, a fellow blipper and her family. Just getting this visit in before the rules change on Monday! We would normally go by train but to decrease any Covid risk we will drive. Really look forward to see them all especially my sister who I havent seen since March.
