Cooling towers

After a morning in Gateshead, it was onwards and southwards (then a bit northwards again) to Milton Keynes. The walk between Kings Cross and Euston is normally refreshing after sitting in a train, but this was in rush hour. :-(

The train south from Newcastle to London was (a) devoid of wi-fi (b) devoid of power output from the connections for mobile devices and (c) bloody well baltic! Presumably the whole electricity thing was problematical. Anyhoo, this was the only photo I took all day. A power station somewhere in Yorkshire....wait a minute, I've blipped this once before. Didn't know where it was then, but tomstoneham later identified it as Eggborough.

I've always rather admired the elegant curves of cooling towers.
