Burthwaite

Yesterday afternoon involved a very wet drive through the Lakes.  The usual hotspots were teeming with visitors.  Higham Hall had everything in place for a safe visit but it will be different from normal as would be expected.  Met up with a couple of people from previous courses here and it was good to see them again.

We had two sessions of yoga this morning and it was nice and gentle to allow us to get warmed up.  After lunch we took a short drive to the start of our walk up Sale Fell.  Pretty steep to begin with but evened up and we got view of Bassenthwaite Lake. Pretty grey and drizzly but it was a good walk which was very enjoyable. Embleton spa hotel for tea and then once we had returned to Higham we had a relaxation session then quick shower ready for dinner.
