Whitechapel Road £60....

........I went past go and collected my £200 so I used it to take a trip today into one of the country's most deprived areas the Borough of Tower Hamlets to visit the Whitechapel Rd, but as hopefully my photo shows a very lively one.

The borough is the 3rd most densely populated in England

The area has a large Bangladeshi community which accounts for 30% of the overall population within the borough, within the ward of Whitecapel that figure rises to 52%.

Whitechapel is the home to the East London Mosque and London's most well known area for curries Brick Lane. (although I have never had a decent one there, its all a bit touristy, if you want a decent curry they can only be found in Birmingham and before any Mancs start to talk about that joke they call the curry mile, just don't bother).

Whitechapel is also notably known for the infamous Jack the Ripper murders in the late 1880s. The murderer was never identified.

Whitechapel is also the 2nd furthest location from my house on the monopoly board and it was bloody freezing out there today I could have done without it but if you are going to do something, then do it properly.

Certainly in regards to positioning on the board, I couldn't have been in a more opposite end of the spectrum to my visit to Park Lane yesterday but that London for you and that's why I love it.

The boys have got another number for you, I am not sure that they are very good at the dice throwing lark, anyway Alex decided that he wanted to throw today, but you can still see Matthews blip if you wish.
